Citadel Awarded Region 4 Education Service Center Contract
The Region 4 occupational health and safety services contract will also be made available to agencies nationwide through a partnership with OMNIA Partners
Falls Church, VA, October 31, 2023. Citadel, a health and safety technology systems integrator dedicated to enhancing holistic well-being, today announced that it has been awarded a contract with Region 4 Education Service Center to provide occupational health and safety compliance services. This contract allows Citadel to provide the economic benefits of volume purchasing and reduction in administrative costs to schools and other members through cooperative purchasing.
The Texas legislature established Region 4 ESC in 1967 to assist school districts and charter schools in improving efficiencies. Region 4 serves a seven-county area comprised of 47 public school districts and 40 open-enrollment charter schools, representing more than 1.2 million students, 105,000 educators and 1,500 campuses. Through cooperative contracts with OMNIA Partners, Region 4 ESC extends the opportunity to operate more efficiently and economically to agencies nationwide.
Through OMNIA Partners’ cooperative purchasing program, Citadel will be able to provide streamlined services to state and local government, higher education, K-12 and non-profits nationwide. With its shared services and supply chain optimization, OMNIA Partners is the largest purchasing organization for public and private sector procurement.
